My Approach
I specialize in outdoor weddings, elopements and engagements (I also offer proposal planning services). I love the outdoors and am willing to travel.

Too often, couples feel awkward having their photos taken, and it's made worse when they don't have the rapport to voice their concerns. I'll spend time getting to know you and building trust, so you can be your most natural self in front of my camera. My aim is to make you comfortable and to have fun together as we capture your authentic love story.

Of all the photos I take, I find it's the images of those magical little moments - the hand holding, stealing a kiss, the split second of surprise - that my couples love best. They're some of my favourite picture to capture too!
My Story
I'm Jess - owner and head photographer at Hillcroft Photography.

Growing up in beautiful Muskoka, Ontario, I spent my days exploring the outdoors and discovering new natural locations to photograph. You could always find me with a camera strapped to my neck!

After completing my undergraduate degree, I attended Teacher's College in the United Kingdom. I loved the adventure but couldn't wait to return home to my fiancé, Kyle.
​
When we reunited, we had an amazing non-traditional outdoor wedding. It was an incredible day. I realized how much I enjoyed the entire process. It was then that I decided to combine my two loves into one and start my wedding photography business.

Now, I specialize in capturing small outdoor weddings and my aim is to give my couples the same feeling of joy that I have when I look back at the photos from my own wedding.

I'm based out of Kingston, Ontario now but love to travel.
